Hello Nats Fans! This is the first post of The NatsTown Chronicle and we are very excited to start this blog. I am “T, hopefully soon, another person I have been in contact will be able to do some posting as well. The purpose of this is to discuss D.C. Baseball news, and share our opinions on how the team is doing, and hopefully hear back from you all on what you think. So a little about myself:
I am T, I’m a Northern Virginia native, in my second semester of college in New England. I have been a baseball fan my entire life, playing from t-ball to high school varsity baseball. My father took me to RFK Stadium to see the Nats Jays to see my first MLB game when I was in kindergarten. I fell in love with the team that inaugural year. It was really tough being a fan through the “Dark Ages”, but Ryan Zimmerman was the guy that kept me going. I have been blessed with many awesome Nationals experiences like watching games at the Diamond Club, Stars and Stripes Club, and President’s Club. I have been able to go on field for a kid’s camp which was a blast, as well as attending a couple Fourth of July parties where several Nationals were in attendance. I have also been able to go to some great Nationals Classics, including the 2012 Division Clincher, Ryan Zimmerman’s Walk-Off Home Run on Father’s Day against the Yankees, and Stephen Strasburg’s 14K Debut. I am excited for this upcoming season and to see what this page does.
